Uniform
Wearing a school uniform plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and belonging among students. It helps to create an environment where all students, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status, are treated equally, thus reducing peer pressure and bullying related to clothing choices.
Uniforms promote discipline and a focus on learning by minimising distractions and encouraging students to take their education seriously. Furthermore, they instil a sense of pride in the school community, as students represent their institution and its values. Overall school uniforms contribute to a positive school culture, enhancing both individual and collective identity among students.
For further information, see the NSW Department of Education's School Uniform Policy.
School Hats
School hats are available from the Office for $10.
Students wear a reversable bucket hat, with the navy side displayed on Monday - Thursday, and their house colour side displaying on Friday and at any sporting events.
Wearing a school hat is compulsory for activities in the sun. Students without a hat will remain under the COLA and basketball court during lunch and recess. This is in accordance with our Sun Safety policy.
